About WeekTally

WeekTally is a free, browser-based calculator for people who want to check their own weekly shifts, unpaid breaks, and estimated gross pay. Its purpose is to make the arithmetic visible and easy to review, especially on a phone.

How the estimate works

Each completed shift is converted to integer minutes. WeekTally subtracts any unpaid break, adds the seven daily totals, then optionally splits the week at the overtime threshold you enter. It uses your chosen multiplier and hourly rate to estimate gross pay. Regular and overtime amounts are rounded to cents after the minutes are summed. A shift is assigned in full to the week of its start date.

Reversed clock times require an explicit next-day selection. Overlapping shifts, incomplete entries, invalid times, and breaks longer than their shifts are flagged so an incorrect total is not silently displayed.

Who publishes it

WeekTally is published at weektally.pages.dev. The former MeasureCove calculators have been retired, and measurecove.com redirects here. The public contact channel is hello@measurecove.com. The site does not ask for your name, employer, or account registration.

Limits

This is entered clock-time arithmetic, not a payroll, tax, or legal service. Daily overtime, double time, paid leave, shift differentials, taxes, deductions, jurisdiction-specific law, and daylight-saving transitions are outside the model. Check actual elapsed time and the rules that apply to your job before using an estimate in a pay dispute.
